In 2021, we successfully launched the redesigned EZVIZ App 5.0 with an updated interface that brings our products even closer to the users while expanding our smart functionalities that not just improve the overall experience but also ensure the privacy of all users.
OUR AREAS OF FOCUS
VISUAL APPEAL
We embraced the EZVIZ native platform-specific UI to increase usability and ease of development. Through the tactic, we developed a new, more unified interface design that increases the app's visual appeal. We utilized contemporary use of cards, buttons, iconography, and interaction design that led to a globally appreciated visual design.
ONBOARDING
We want to create a great first impression and help users quickly and easily get their new devices up and running without any issues. Therefore, we refined the EZVIZ onboarding flow with educational visuals and copy throughout to help guide our users to success.
SPEED & EASE
Through the redesign of the app, we ensure our core experience is seamless and speedy, so when an event takes place, the user can easily view and act across all the devices. Switching the products' armed status, locations, scheduling, and viewing all details are also much quicker and easier with EZVIZ 5.0
SUPPORT
Throughout the experience, we also put an aim to educate and support our users. We added educational tips and tools to make optimizing the system even easier. In addition, we also included support article links with easy access to our customer services to create an easy-to-use integrated support system within the app.
USER EXPERIENCE FLOW
We start by creating an information architecture map to gain a technical understanding of how systems work. This phase strips out any design and focuses on the goals the user is trying to accomplish when using the product.
WIREFRAMES
Wireframes are created to understand the basic structure of an app before UI design. In this exploratory phase, we create wireframes to focus on content, information, and basic layout.
HIGH - FIDELITY DESIGN
We work through a final visual aesthetic while staying aligned with Apple’s Human Interface and Android Material Guidelines.
